10-07-2007, 11:26 PM Boinst Joined on 10-08-2007 Posts 6 Crash when using Vista I've posted the below problem to support, and will post any answer I recieve here also. Evaluating Word2Chm Unregistered in Vista with UAC turned off, when I click the 'Exit' button, or when compilation from the command line completes successfully, Word2Chm crashes out with the following message: Word-2-CHM Pro has stopped working. A problem caused the program to stop working correctly. Windows will close the program and notify you if a solution is available.    Report

Because we’ve tested many times in Vista and can not find any error like this, so we guess this issue occur in a special build version of Vista. It maybe caused by a special windows update. Would you like to tell us which updates you installed? Thanks for your message and your kindly help.    Report

I sent an email about this before I saw this question on the forum. Another question we have is the search function is not working on our chm. Any ideas?We would love to buy the product if it will work for us.    Report

Please tell us your language and region setting of your system and Microsoft Word. You should set your language and region fit to your generated CHM.    Report
