search engine indexing

Hi,
I would like to move online our software documentation available in chm format.  I have a couple ho questions about chm2web.

First: I tried the demo version,  and I like the fact that your system have a search engine built in, but I would like to know if, given that you converter uses frames,  documentation pages are indexed by search engine, and it is possible to land to a a given documentation issue directly from a search engine.

Second: For example, I saw the follwing page and It seems to me that  it not using frames.

http://www.macrobject.com/en/chm-2-web/doc2008/index.htm

which option should I use to generate a similar page with chm2web?

Thanks,
Matteo

Dear Metteo,

Thanks for your message.

First: Sorry, I don't understand exactly.
Do you mean it supports the 3rd search engine such as Google, Yahoo?

Second: In fact our manual of chm2web used frames.
You could modify the template to generate a similar page.

David.

Hi Thanks for the reply,
my question was exactly about 3rd search engines: I would like to know if my manual  pages will be indexed as any other web page.

Now I think that the answer is yes because by googling "Regenerating Online Document" I land to the following page wich is generated with your software.

http://www.macrobject.com/en/chm-2-web/doc2008/index.htm?i=17

In this case I think it is suited for our needs!

Thanks,
Matteo
