10-22-2009, 9:29 AM guptakv Joined on 10-23-2009 Posts 1 Issues with Images/Pictures/Figures Hello, I am new with thsi software and am trying to convert a Word2007 document that I have to chm. The document has a lot of images (all have the layout "In Line with Text") but on conversion to chm all the images seem to be relocated all over the page (devoid of all formatiing as in my docuement). In addition to the above issue, all captions that I have with my images show up as really blured text. Are these bugs or am I doing something incorrectly? Also there was a feature request on 10-11-2007 by 'Boinst' regarding hyperlinking of captions to the image. Is this feature available now, if yes then how do I use it. regards, ~kg ps: I using Word-2-CHM 2009 Professional Edition 2009.2.1016.2241 registered version    Report

I'm using callout boxes which are placed as separate objects over the figures. The alignment is lost in the conversion and the callouts no longer point to the correct spot on the image. They are not on the image at all. I'm afraid that if the fix is to create a snapshot graphic out of the callouts and the image that this would be too labor intensive to justify buying the pro version. Thanks! Tom    Report

10-07-2010, 11:30 AM MasterCephus Joined on 12-20-2008 Posts 4 Re: Issues with Images/Pictures/Figures I am having the same problem.  I have a lot of images and I use text boxes around the images with arrows pointing to the images to explain items in the image.  This looks perfect in Word, but when I convert to CHM, all the images are all over the page, the text box are spread out everywhere and the arrows are spread throughout the page...all in the wrong spot.    Report
