hi,
a new version is out check on : word-2-web.com
it has many improvements and the team i think is going on making it even better !
thank you.
i have some new requests/features to propose you :
1/ about search, when there is not result (no matches) why use this ugly box saying only in English : no matches found and we have to click ok
i propose you to :
- use new lightboxes (many on web based on jquery, mootools, prototype, or even in directly in javascript without using libraries), and include a message that we could write by ourselves in settings as for the copyright message..
- directly inside the text field (where results should be shown) directly display the message we also write directly in settings...
2/ activate a reverse function, i mean from web to word, i mean if i have generated a web help i think it would be nice to generate from it again the word document...sometimes we lost the word original files, it would be nice to rebuilt them as we have already everything...may be this could come later it is not urgent...but quite interesting
3/add a css style editor, not something complicated, just to directly change the style applicable on headings (H1 to H9) and maybe the fonts used...i know we can manage this directly on templates, but i ma thinking on some features that could simplify things to non experienced users...
4/check also possibilities with css3 and html5 (storage, canvas, audio, video, ...) maybe it could gives you some ideas and inspirations, here you find links concerning html5 :

for the html5 it is not finalised as standard but modern browsers are implementing already many features the same goes for css3, so please prepare the future...lol
thank you for everything.
bye.
