Thank you for the quick reply, but it's as simple as the help file itself. Maybe this feature is too simple for you to answer my stupid question:).
I followed your steps:
1. I created a new empty DOC file.
2. I insert some DOCs by using the command "Insert file..."
3. All my Doc files have outlines, and they are there.
4. I run your program, create one CHM file with the option "Merge sub docs" checked.
and then I create another CHM file with the option "Merge sub docs" unchecked.
I can't find any differences between the two CHM files, it seems that the Word-2-CHM do NOTHING with the option "Merge sub docs" checked.
I do think that I merged all sub docs by myself, yes, by hand, not by the program.
To make things straight, could you please tell us what the benifits I can get from this option? Could you please help us with some more detailed information?
