Exclude text in the output file

Hello,
I would like to use the same Word document to print the user manual (pdf format), to generate the CHM file and the online help. I downloaded the word-2-web and the word-to-chm applications.
I would like to know if there is a way to exclude some text (not an entire section) by giving the text a defined style? In the original Word document, I have a logo and the "Chapter xxx" at the beginning of each section, followed by the title of the section. In the output file, I would like to remove the logo and the "Chapter xxx", because they appear in the text of the preceeding section.
It seems that I don't understand the Content Remover beause it seems that it would remove topics completely. If I specify 3 as the topic level, will it remove topics 1 and 2? Or everything that is higher than topic 3?
Thanks!
