09-09-2011, 5:10 PM csrnw Joined on 09-09-2011 Posts 2 UTF-8 title in word2chm file? It does not appear possible to create a element in a word2chm file that contains Chinese characters. I cannot directly enter Chinese UTF-8 into the edit box. When I use a unicode editor to insert Chinese UTF-8 in this field in the file itself, word2chm mangles the text. Does word2chm handle this?    Report

09-10-2011, 6:17 AM David Joined on 01-26-2008 Posts 195 Re: UTF-8 title in word2chm file? CHM can not support Unicode or UTF-8 so you can set title as locale code page (ANSI) only. You could insert chars in Chinese code page and it will be shown correctly in the CHM viewer.    Report
